Thierry Braillard, né le 24 janvier 1964 à Bron, est un avocat et un homme politique français. Député de la 1ʳᵉ circonscription du Rhône depuis le 17 juin 2012, il a été secrétaire d’État chargé des Sports entre le 9 avril 2014 et le 10 mai 2017. Il a repris son activité d’avocat au Barreau de Lyon.

Dans le cadre de son cycle de conférences, l’Ecole de Commerce de Lyon a eu le plaisir de recevoir, ce Vendredi 18 Décembre 2021 à 14h00, M. Thierry Braillard, un homme politique, ancien secrétaire d’État chargé des sports sous le président François Hollande.
En dehors de cette casquette politique, l’homme se consacre aussi à l’écriture de roman.
Son premier ouvrage sort en 2020 intitulé Le dilemme national.
Nos étudiants ont eu droit aux coulisses de la rédaction de cet ouvrage et à une séance de dédicace spéciale.

- Avocat au barreau de Lyon
- Vice-président de la communauté urbaine de Lyon (Grand Lyon) chargé des pôles de loisirs et de commerce, de 2001 à 2007.
- Vice-président de la région Rhône-Alpes chargé de l’organisation générale, des relations extérieures et de la vie associative de 2004 à 2010.
- Vice-président national du Parti radical de gauche de 2008 à 2017.
- Président de la Fondation du sport français, depuis le 16 avril 2020 (en cours).
- Écrivain à succès
Dans un échange riche, monsieur Thierry Braillard raconte d’une manière précise son livre à succès Le dilemme national, et les motivations qui lui ont permis d’être un écrivain.
Soutenu par un ami proche journaliste et grand reporter du “Monde” il a alors décidé de se lancer dans cette aventure.
« Partant de la commune Saint-Trivier-sur-Moignans dans le département de l’Ain un point de départ qui met en exergue la liste du parti Front National de 40% lors d’une élection présidentielle, régionale ou européenne.
Des causes soutenues par l’héroïne du livre Mathilde, une jeune française travaillant à temps partiel en CDI gagnant près de 1290 euros, ne bénéficiant d’aucune aide sociale par rapport à sa charge lourde émotionnelle, s’est vue rejoindre un groupe appelé Rassemblement national qui prône un discours que l’on peut prendre pour argent comptant…
Le dilemme national est un roman agréable, facile à lire et même si vous n’êtes pas un adepte de la lecture, il vous conviendra parfaitement.
